Satisfactory Progress
B.S./M.S. students are expected to abide by Allen School satisfactory progress policies. While B.S./M.S. students are still pursuing their undergraduate degree, the policies can be found here and any questions should be directed to the undergraduate advising team.
The policies for students in the M.S. portion of the program are as follows:
- You must maintain a minimum quarterly and cumulative gpa of 3.0
- You must take at least 10 credits per quarter. Exceptions are made for students in their last quarter, if they have DRS accommodations, or if there are extenuating circumstances (please email advising).
- You must graduate within six years of beginning your M.S. degree
Please email advising with any questions. Being out of compliance with satisfactory progress policies could jeopardize your registration priority, priority for teaching assistantship selection, or ability to complete the program. Exceptions for exceptional circumstances may be made on a case by case basis.
