The Allen School Student Recruitment Representatives aim to expand access to the Allen School through increasing the visibility of our Direct to Major and Transfer admissions pathways in underserved communities and connecting prospective students with admissions counseling resources.
About The Program
The Student Recruitment Representatives work collaboratively with the Allen School’s Recruitment Team to connect with and support applicants to the UW’s Computer Science & Computer Engineering majors. In particular, we focus on supporting Washington State high schools and community colleges where students may have limited access to college preparatory resources. We aim to support students throughout the recruitment process from first discovering our undergraduate program through the admitted student experience.

Hi everyone! I’m Anjali and I’m a senior in the Allen School and the lead student recruitment rep this year! I’m originally from the Bay Area and got into the Allen School as a direct admit. Over my college career, I’ve had extensive experience in undergraduate research, internships, student employment, and academics, so feel free to ask me anything about that and also general life too – I’d love to get to know you and talk all things college, Allen School, and/or CSE related!

Hi! I’m Viba and I’m a second-year here at the Allen School double majoring in Computer Science and Psychology! This is my first year on the Recruitment Representative team, but I’ve previously been a Changemakers in Computing mentor within the Student Engagement & Access team as well. I’m really passionate about computer science and the people and ethics side of it. I think CS can have a huge impact and can intersect with so many different disciplines, which most people don’t initially realize! I’m excited to be able to share my experiences at the Allen School and connect/support prospective students!
