Student Recruitment Representatives
The Allen School Student Recruitment Representatives aim to expand access to the Allen School through increasing the visibility of our Direct to Major and Transfer admissions pathways in underserved communities and connecting prospective students with admissions counseling resources.
About The Program
The Student Recruitment Representatives work collaboratively with the Allen School’s Recruitment Team to connect with and support applicants to the UW’s Computer Science & Computer Engineering majors from communities that are underrepresented in computing. In particular, we focus on supporting Washington State high schools and community colleges with significant numbers of first-generation college students, underrepresented students of color, and students from low-income backgrounds. We aim to support students throughout the recruitment process from first discovering our undergraduate program through the admitted student experience.

Prospective Student Appointments: We are happy to connect virtually with prospective Direct to Major (freshman) and prospective transfer applicants! These meetings can be a great time to ask questions about academics, internships & research, or extracurriculars in the Allen School.
