AGENDA
Research presentations, posters and demos are planned for the second day of our annual meeting - October 19th. Recruiting events will be held on Tuesday afternoon (for startups only) and Thursday, a longer session which is primarily devoted to medium and larger companies for the recruiting and interviewing of our graduate and undergraduate students. The meeting is held in the Paul G. Allen Center for Computer Science & Engineering.
Tuesday, October 18 - Recruiting Opportunities for startups
This year's annual meeting with kick off recruiting activities for startup companies.
Student participation in the recruiting event is restricted to only students of the Computer Science & Engineering department, which is located on the Seattle main campus.

Wednesday, October 19 - Research Overviews, Talks, Demonstrations, and Posters
This day will begin with a state-of-the-department overview that includes initiatives and research begun over the past year. The bulk of the day will consist research talks (in parallel tracks), a working lunch, time for industry feedback sessions, and will wrap up with an open house reception and lab tours with poster presentations and demonstrations. The day will allow our affiliates to meet many of our students at the talks and demonstration/poster sessions.
Seattle’s Madrona Venture Partners has awarded the Madrona Prize for the past nine years to students participating in UW CSE’s Open House whose research work shows the greatest potential for commercialization. The People’s Choice Award, for which attendees vote for their favorite projects, will also be awarded. Please join us at the open house for this year's award winners.
