  • Check out all fairs organized by the Paul G. Allen School of Computer Science & Engineering here. As you notice, there are some additional fairs around campus that are using the Career Fairs Plus app. Make sure you are checking out the Allen School fairs.

  • The established company fair will again be open to students from related majors. In addition to serving the Allen School population, we are partnering with departments across UW Seattle, Bothell and Tacoma to open up the fair from 2 PM – 5 PM to students studying majors that are related to computer science. Priority access will be given to those non-Allen School students that have pre-registered. Non-Allen School students will be able to queue at 1:30 p.m.

We have several career-focused and technical talks scheduled this winter, brought to you by our various industry affiliate partners. Please be sure to attend these. The schedule for talks is listed on the undergraduate advising calendar.

Important things to remember:

  • Participate in all events - particularly the recruiting fairs.
  • Be sure to wear your name badge prior to the recruiting events. This is how the recruiters will know you are an Allen School (CSE) student. If you need a name badge, you will be able to get one at the fair.
  • Be sure to bring your Husky Card with you. You will be asked to tap your card for entry, even if you have your Allen School lanyard and name badge.
  • Add your resume to the new Resume Database for Affiliate companies to search.
  • Backpacks will not be allowed inside the career fairs. We will be hosting a backpack check for Allen School students at the Gates Commons (6th floor) in CSE1.
  • Bring copies of your resume to the fairs.
  • Make sure your contact information is clearly visible.
  • Dress appropriately.

The Industry Affiliate Fall Recruiting Fairs are organized and hosted by the Paul G. Allen School of Computer Science & Engineering. Participation is limited to recruiters from the Allen School's Industry Affiliate partners, and to students majoring in Computer Science or Computer Engineering in the Paul G. Allen School on the UW Seattle campus.

Membership in the Allen School's Industry Affiliates Program does not constitute endorsement (in either direction!). As a public institution of higher learning, we have a particular responsibility to remain neutral in administering our programs. We trust our students, and we encourage and educate our students, to be smart consumers of job offers, and to vote with their feet when deciding which booths to visit at our recruiting fairs. These are choices that students will need to make throughout their lives.
