Overview
The CSE department maintains a number of virtual machines for the use undergraduate- and graduate-level courses which require dedicated Windows- or Linux-based server resources.
Windows Instructional Project Servers
iprojsrv is assigned to a specific course, or courses, on a quarterly basis. The software installed on this server will be dependent on the needs of the course(s) which are using it in a given quarter. Check the course web page for specific instructions on how to access and use this server.
Access to iprojsrv is based on course enrollment lists. If you are enrolled a course that is using this server (according to the Course Computing Resources list), but you do not have access, please contact CSE Support.
Linux Instructional Project Servers
Four Linux servers - amlia, aziak, kiska, and umnak - are assigned to a specific course, or courses, on a quarterly basis. The software installed on this server will be dependent on the needs of the course(s) which are using it in a given quarter. Check the course web page for specific instructions on how to access and use these servers.
Access to these servers is based on course enrollment lists. If you are enrolled a course that is using one of these servers (according to the Course Computing Resources list), but you do not have access, please contact CSE Support.
