Welcome to the Grad Student Committee Sign-up 2012-2013!
With 50 new grad students coming to CSE, 2012-2013 is going to be an epic year for the department!
The graduate students play a very important role in the department. Not only are we responsible for producing top notch research, we also perform duties outside the realm of Computer Science research to keep our department culture strong and make CSE a place that we all love.
There are a variety of graduate student positions to volunteer for. These positions are held for one year and there are no term limits. More information on each position can be found here: http://www.cs.washington.edu/orgs/student-affairs/gsc/positions.html. If you have any questions, please email Nicki (nixdell (at) cs) or ask the previous year's committee member. We will also have an info/sign-up/election meeting soon! Details TBD.

These positions are arguably the most important!! We prefer these to be filled by current first years (second years to be) because they can remember what it is like to be a new grad.
